About Cambridge Sculpture Trails

Cambridge has within easy reach of the city centre over sixty works of 20th and 21st century sculpture in sites accessible to the public. Not only are there some outstanding pieces by major international figures, but there is also work by many increasingly established and up-and-coming sculptors.

Cambridge Sculpture Trails has created three separate sculpture walks around the city to enable you to discover this rich diversity of works of art. Each trail has been tried and tested with Trail 1 and Trail 3 taking approximately two hours. Trail 2 is rather longer but can be conveniently divided into shorter sessions.

Information is also included about access to the sculptures, particularly those within college grounds, where public access can be restricted at different times of the year. Disabled access to those within colleges is usually possible but for the city areas this  could be more difficult. The Tourist Information Office publish “A Disabled Guide to Cambridge” - Tel: 01223 457577.

Links to the home pages of many of the sculptors and the sites is also included.

Three separate trail leaflets are available, free of charge, from the Tourist Information Office, the art galleries and museums in Cambridge, or ordered directly from Cambridge Sculpture Trails. These can also be downloaded from this website together with the relevant maps.
